Chapters 7-12 of Isaiah are often referred to as “The Book of Immanuel,” and the overall message of these chapters is eventual messianic salvation.

How good and all-knowing our God is! Some months, I ask Him, “What is going on?” Some months, I say, “Ohhhh, I see what You may have been doing there”.
Perspective
During our nightly routine, my oldest son reads jokes before our bedtime prayers. He loves comedy and laughter. Plus, it helps to end the day on a laugh or sometimes a good roll of the eyes for the bad jokes.
