How to Become Catholic
Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world

We are so glad you are thinking about joining the Catholic Church. We have a process of learning and discernment that prepares you to become Catholic. The program is named OCIA, which stands for the “Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.” It is modeled on the conversion experiences of those who became Christian in the very first centuries of Christianity. It is intended for adults who have never been baptized as well as those who were baptized in non-Catholic Christian communities.
You can join the OCIA program at any point in the year. We’re here to help you figure things out and to help you see the beauty of the Catholic faith and the love of Christ.
