Praise and thanks to God for a modern-day miracle! He is, was, and ever shall be God, who is still performing, has performed, and ever shall perform miracles. He continues to work in our lives – can you see His work?
Recently, a family very dear to us experienced some rather big life changes that shook the very foundation of their lifestyle. Looking from the outside as “the world” would view it, all seemed as if the struggle could easily wreak havoc on them, their marriage, their family, and their lifestyle. How often, though, does the world forget that God is still God, even as it denies and rejects His sovereign power.
God used these changes to show Himself, His providence, and His power to this family. The family came together and prayed and accepted these changes with many tears, but without losing hope. The practice of communication and spending time together was reestablished. When God presented two possible outcomes, the couple prayed. When a decision was made, they sat in the very Presence of God at Adoration and offered their new adventure and future to the Lord.
One spouse has gone from years of cultural practice of faith to asking to be taken to Adoration weekly and is anticipated to return to confession after many years. Praise God!
The world does not spread Hope and good news much. It is up to the Body of Christ through family, community, and small groups to spread His Hope, The Good News, and modern-day miracles that happen every day in our own lives.
