Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Every person is created in the image and likeness of God and draws its value from this dignity.
“Human persons are willed by God; they are imprinted with God’s image. Their dignity does not come from the work they do, but from the persons they are”. (St. John Paul II, On the Hundredth Year [Centesimus annus], no. 11)
What is SHINE HIS LIGHT? A monthly Holy Hour and Rosary to value all human lives while praying for different groups of people and respect life issues.
I invite all parishioners to join me in prayer monthly in our Chapel before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. As we pray the Rosary before Him, we pray that every life is respected, honored, and treasured while focusing on a different intention at each gathering.
I especially invite members of the ministries listed below to join in prayer on the designated month, hopefully in person.
Please share this invitation and I hope to see you for this monthly hour of prayer!
Your brother,
Fr. Philip Wilhite, Pastor
Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School
